Outfit details: I am totally in love with this dress from KIN Boutique. They have a variety of timeless pieces that won’t break the bank. These strappy heels are a dream and I can actually walk in them all day. You can never go wrong with a high-end, quality handbag – I love my Burberry bag. Here are the details on my bracelet and earrings. Makeup is by Heather from Estee Lauder. Hair by Justin Littlefield.
There’s something about attending fashion shows that provides me with all the good vibes. Dressing up, parties, meeting new people, hanging out with friends and of course the FASHION! Whether you are on the search to see what’s new/trending for the upcoming season or seeing the emerging fashion designers trying to make their big break or maybe, you just want to be part of the “in-crowd.” No matter why you attend fashion shows, I believe you gain a ton of insight on way to incorporate the new trends into your everyday wardrobe.
I personally LOVE attending shows where “not-currently-discovered designers” are at the forefront. Don’t get me wrong, I love all fashion, but there is something about the drive of an emerging designer working their asses off to see which collection will bring them their big break. That is why I was super excited to attend this the 2018 Philadelphia Fashion Incubator Show.
First, I had one of the best seats in the house and not only was I in awe of all the trendy fashion, but I loved watching the crowds’ facial expressions as each model walked the runway. Phones lit up as all attendees tried to snap a couple of photos or a video to share on social media of the glamorous life of seeing these top-notch emerging designers debut their collection to the world.
Second, the lighting is always on point, and the models are prepped not only to look photo ready at every minute but also dominate that runway. It is PERFECT for pictures and really capture the overall essence of the brand.
The 2018 Philadelphia Fashion Incubator Designers-in-Residence Fashion Show was a head turner. These emerging local designers didn’t hold anything back. Model after model and look after look topped the next. As I was heavily focused on each look, I was able to snap a couple of pictures and videos for your viewing pleasure. I have also linked all designers below so you can gather all the details from each one.
