Perfect Transitional Dress

January 25, 2018

Who’s ready for winter to end? I know I am. Even more so after this brutally cold winter, we have endured in Philadelphia. As we wish for warmth, it’s time to start thinking about transitional pieces to get us from winter to spring. I love finding great deals that not only make me feel confident in what I am wearing but also won’t break the bank. A true win/win! I found this perfect transitional dress that will bring a smile to your face and keep money in your pocket because this dress is under $50!

Before ordering this dress online, I will have to admit that I was a little hesitant on how the bell sleeves would look as well as if the length would be long enough for me. And after pondering for a bit, I decided to order it in the olive color.

As soon as it arrived, I tried it on instantly. The dress is very flattering and the bell sleeves add a bit of laid back and playfulness to it. Since I am 5’11 with a 37-inch inseam, I was nervous the dress would be too short. However, by pairing the dress with these over the knee boots, it gave the illusion that the dress was longer. I felt very stylish with this entire ensemble and confidently walked the streets of Philadelphia like I owned the place.

The Bell Sleeve Sweater Dress by Cotton Emporium comes in two colors olive and light heather grey. It does fit true to size and is machine washable.

I had a great time accessorizing this outfit for this photo shoot, as the accessories can be very versatile depending on the look you are going for. If you decide to wear the dress to work, I highly recommend accessorizing it with over the knee boots so you’re not showing too much leg. If you decide to wear this dress while brunching with the ladies, a perfect pair of high heels would do the trick. No matter what your style, this dress is perfect for everyone.

With spring right around the corner, you will see more of my favorite transitional pieces. And if you happen to have a favorite, comment below.
