It’s that time of year where you and your coworkers come together as a company to celebrate accomplishments throughout the year. Invitations have been sent and now it’s time for the party! But wait…this year, your company has decided to opt in for a daytime office soirée and you’re stumped on what to wear.
Dressing for any office holiday get together can be tricky and it all depends on the party theme/company culture. Is the planning committee thinking business casual or holiday chic? It’s a toss up and even yours truly has to investigate my own company policy. But my motto is, when in doubt, over dress. Nothing is worse when you arrive to the holiday party (and you have totally missed the memo) and you are either under dressed or wearing a fabulously ugly sweater. No matter what the theme, I have you covered from casual wear to holiday appropriate!
This look is a home run for any daytime office party. The lace mock neck top adds elegance without even trying. It’s very flattering and comes in two different colors (see this outfit with the moss green top for another fabulous holiday look). The high-waisted red pencil skirt that hugs your curves in the right way! The stretch fabric is great for all day comfort. It runs true to size and is available in two colors. Pairing the skirt with tights can add a creative touch to your look. I opted for the honeycomb style; however, the options are endless.
Since the top has such amazing detail, I chose not to add a necklace. I accessorized my look with a classic Burberry watch along with my diamond earrings. Play around with your jewelry and add your own flare to the holiday festive attire.
