Perfect Dress for Any Occasion

November 12, 2017

I’m a sucker for long sleeve dresses; however, because I’m tall, it’s tough to find a dress that’s long enough for my legs and arms. When I find one that works for my long body type, I immediately buy one or two of them.

I am always on the hunt for a great dress and I stumbled upon this beauty while shopping at Nordstrom’s with my hubby. As soon as I put it on, I knew I was going to purchase it. It was so comfortable that I thought I was wearing PJs. The ruching helps hide any imperfections and the wrap like hem at the bottom gives it a little something extra. This dress can be worn causally or with the right accessories, it happens to be a great going out dress. It comes in five colors (Black, Gry Cloudy Heather, Navy India Ink, Purple Peace Heather, Red Tannin), it is true to size AND it’s only $59.

For this look, since I was headed to brunch, I decided to elevate my look with comfortable peep toe booties, and added a stylish chic beaded metallic tassel necklace to keep my look simple and not too over the top. Whether I am dressing up my look or going causal with a pair of tennis sneakers from Cole Haan, I’m always receiving compliments.

It was really windy in Philadelphia that day, and because I spent some time on my hair, I added one of my favorite go-to white fiddler cap hats to keep my hair from flying all over the place. The cozy scarf kept me warm enough and it helped bring the entire look together.

This dress is truly amazing and I could come up with hundreds of different ways to accessories it. You won’t regret adding this fashion gem to your closet. This dress sells out quickly so be sure to get it now (if available) or keep an eye on it as Nordstrom’s frequently re-stocks it.

Do you have a versatile dress you want to share? Let us know, we are always looking for great dresses.
